TuneFind

I found this website called "TuneFind", and it is especially useful for those people who know how the song sounds, but can never remember who sings it and what the title is.

What the site essentially does is it allows people to find songs that they hear on TV(in shows) and in movies without having to go through the hassle of racking their brain in hopes of the name of the song magically coming to them. On the home page, right away it displays two categories in their respective columns; Recent TV shows and Recent Movies.

Under TV shows, you'll see a list of popular shows and a couple songs underneath it that have played in the most recent episodes. The movie category essentially does the same thing, showing music underneath recent movies that are still in theatres.

The left navigation bar allows users to to search for music by entering a name (I would assume any keyword that is relevant) and browsing the available TV shows and movies listed in their catalogue.

There is also the option of clicking most popular which takes you to two other columns that show 2009's most popular songs, and all-time popular songs. Underneath those columns you can also find which artists were popular for this year, and who has been deemed all-time popular.

Just like almost every other user-friendly site, people are able to join and keep track of their submissions to the website.
